Apparently they missed a few opposition parties. But given the huge fractional nature of their political parties, some that were pro-Russia were removed. Once the war ends we might see where their society goes. At the moment they are fighting Russia, quite willingly which suggests they aren't being forced. While the government did require males to stay and not flee, that seems minimally enforced. As I understand it they have a real training backlog from citizens who wish to fight.
